Dr. Maryam Pourpaki is a board-certified rheumatologist who completed her Rheumatology training at Washington University in St. Louis in 2016. She has been a proud member of the American College of Rheumatology (ACR) since 2014.

Dr. Pourpaki specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of musculoskeletal and autoimmune connective tissue disorders, including rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, polymyositis, vasculitis, scleroderma, psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis.

She also provides ultrasound-guided evaluations and joint injections, offering advanced precision in both diagnosis and treatment. In addition to in-person visits, Dr. Pourpaki also offers telemedicine appointments for appropriate conditions.

Dr. Pourpaki has practiced in Cincinnati, Missouri, Chicago, and has been serving patients in Nashville since 2019, providing high quality care to the St. Thomas community and accepting hospital consultation referrals. She welcomes new patients in Nashville and at her two satellite clinics in Clarksville and Dickson.

Dr. Pourpaki works alongside a dedicated team including three experienced physician assistants who provide excellent care to patients under her supervision, ensuring continuity, and high-quality rheumatologic management.

Known for her compassionate and comprehensive approach, Dr. Pourpaki is committed to patient education and partnering closely with each patient to create individualized treatment plans that support long-term health and quality of life.

Outside of medicine, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, experiencing different cultures and foods, hiking, playing piano and cooking.
